Camisoles With Support

So today I want to talk a bit about camis with bra support. I do think that a bra + camisole or tank top is acceptable to wear, still it's nice to have a camisole with proper support so that I'm wearing just one thing instead of two. I like to wear such camisoles under a dress that needs extra coverage, or to sleep in.
So the first rule to camis with support is that if it doesn't come in a cup and a band size, it won't support much.
Here are two camis from Marks & Spencers in 28DD, both with band support. Both from Ebay. Both are underwired. Here is what they look like from the front:

Wondering how does it work with the band support? This is how the red cami looks from the back:

It's basically a bra band, with the back attached to it. Simple and smart. This particular band isn't very tight, so I use it to sleep in, especially as the cups are extremely unflattering (the horizontal seam bang in the center gives duck-beak boobs). The bottom part of the cami is free-flowing. I originally bought one in black and silver, but they turned out to be out of stock.

And now the white one:

I love this hook and eye closure, even if it's a bit hard to do it up myself. However I feel that this gives quite a bit of support. It also makes the cami perfectly smooth and stops it from a) rolling up and b) my belly rolls from showing, which gives a great smooth line under clothes. The boning is quite soft so the whole cami is very comfortable to wear. I guess this cami is technically a basque?
Unfortunately the cups are a whole size too small, so I will not be keeping it, which is a pity since it's gorgeous. If any of you wants it, click over to the Venusian*Bazaar!
