Eco tools brushes
I love Eco Tools brushes -- really great quality, are inexpensive and look pretty. I got these three from TK Maxx. The sheer finish Kabuki is a fiber optic brush -- I have discovered that these brushes are really amazing for a very light yet even application. I have used this one for blush, foundation, finishing powders and Sweetscents Hide-A-Pore.
The Eco Tools Deluxe Fan is for dusting on small amounts of blush, bronzer or highlighter on raised areas of the face. It's not really a must-have, but if you play a lot with highlighting and contouring you'll appreciate it.
Essence Studio Nails Hardening Nail Base
The makeup artist used this on my nails for a no-makeup-makeup photoshoot, and I fell in love with it. It gives a light barely-there look, really pretty. On the seond day it gets a little bit more transculent. It is really easy to apply, doesn't chip at all, and is absolutely idiot-proof. I'd absolutely recommend it to anybody just starting out with nail polish, or those of you like a natural look, or have no time to redo your nails regularly.
P2 Nail Polish Thinner
A nail polish thinner can rescue old nail polishes, and make very creamy ones much easier to apply. The one from P2 is cheap and works well.
Essence Nail Art Glowing In The Dark Topper
This transparent product reacts to blacklight, and looks really funky in a club. It is transparent and can be worn solo or over another colour. The catch is that it has to be applied evenly, otherwise it looks like the scribblings of a toddler. Try applying 2-3 very thin layers, or work under a UV lamp if you have one. I don't know if this one is still available, but I have seen similar products floating around.

Lip balm with SPF
It was not easy to find something with SPF for the lips without nano-particles or chemical sunscreen. This one from Müller got good notes from Öko Test, and is very cheap. It has no taste and isn't sticky. What are your favourite products right now?
